When copying a Joomla site you may experience the following error when trying to log in to the Administration panel/site.
Joomla 500 – An error has occurred.
This can often be because your config.php has wrong information for example, db username and password or simple the database name, site location ie apache virtual host location or even the fact that you copied the site and forgot to chnage ownership of the files.
